Happy Birthday

Today I would like to share a Z-Fold style card that I decorated with birthday themed inserts from Spellbinders S5-345 - Layered Happy Birthday from a aew collection called 3D Vignettes.

On my card I also added tiny flowers that I made using a flower die from Spellbinders S3-314 - Petite Double Bow and Flowers. I also made a double bow from the same die set.

On the last panel I stamped a sentiment from Keisercraft. It can be seen trough the card.

Na ostatni panel nastemplowałam sentencję od Keisercraft. Widać ją przez całą kartkę.

To create Z-fold card I used 12 x 12 inches patterned paper. The paper needs to be strong enough to stand alone. For this card I used paper from ScrapAndMe Romantic Garden Part 1.
  1. I cut a piece 12in by 5in and scored at the long edge at 4in and 8in.
  2. Before folding scored lines I die cut in a base a Happy Birthday insert and Balloon insert (both without an Outline Circle).
  3. Then I folded the base into Z shape. The card measures, when folded, 5'' by 4''.
  4. On the die cut windows I placed, on 3D foam, a layer of the same die cuts but I die cut both with an Outline Circle.
  5. On balloons I added a third layer of both Balloons and String dies.
  6. I decorated a card with Petite Flowers and with a Double Bow (I made a double bow  on a brad with no glue).
  7. I rounded corners with a 3/8in corner rounder.
  8. Also stamped a sentiment at the last panel so it can be seen trough the card.
  9. The last panel I left undecorated so there is a space to add a personal message.
  1. Przygotowałam papier wielkości 12in na 5in i zbigowałam na 4'' i 8''.
  2. Zanim złożyłam bazę najpierw wycięłam ozdobne okna w bazie. Użyłam Happy Birthday i Balloon inserts.

I also wanted to say that this two doilies which are on the pictures I crocheted myself :) These are the first ever crochet I made :) I made this doilies thanks to tutorials on YT.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Dziękuję bardzo za odwiedziny.

Happy Easter

Today I would like to share an Easter card that I made using a beautiful frame Spellbinders S5-328 - Tallulah Frill Layering Frame Small designed by Becca Feeken.

Dzisiaj chciałabym pokazać kolejną kartkę wielkanocną. Bazę kartki wycięłam wykrojnikiem Spellbinders S5-328 - Tallulah Frill Layering Frame Small zaprojektowaną przez Becca Feeken.

On my card I added a filigree egg Spellbinders S2-053 - Filigree Egg. I also added a handmade flower. To create a flower I used a flower die from Spellbinders S4-791 - Isadora Trinkets.

For my card I used spring paper collection from Magiczna Kartka.

Happy 21st Birthday

Today I would like to share a card for 21st birthday. I added on my card beautiful filigree numbers from a new die set Spellbinders S6-141 - Filigree Numbers from 3D Vignettes collection.

Some flowers on my card are handmade by me using paper and some are fabric ones which I altered a bit. Papers on my card are from Scrap and Me Romantic Garden collection.

Część kwiatków zrobiłam sama z papieru a część jest z materiału i trochę przeze mnie przerobione. Papiery na mojej kartce są od Scrap and Me Romantic Garden.

INTRODUCING AMAZING PAPER GRACE – 3D VIGNETTES

Welcome friends, today we are introducing a new die collection by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders called 3D Vignettes.

3D Vignettes is a series of dies that can be included in a Grand Base die to create 3D upright cards that folds down flat to go into an envelope - a collapsible tunnel card!  You can see it in action in the 1.5 minute video ------> HERE.  Where these Vignettes are unique, is the ability to die cut or not die cut each and every layer for an ethereal see through dimensional creation.  The collection was designed to cut out whole or to be cut out inlaid for inclusion in a Grand Base.  The collection centers around three themes - baby, love and birthday, and today we show you traditional uses but a little dreaming, only the sky is the limit.

The dies and elements can be used as standalones or in the Grand Base there is a good degree of mix and matchability across the entire collection.  I've made three cards to show you how easy it is to isolate different sets or combine them all into one, they are:

  • The Simple Card - There are two layering dies which can be used as inserts or used on their own in regular cards.
  • The Embellished Card - There is a set of shaped dies, these add drama or can be used on their own in regular cards.
  • The Decked Out Card - There is a 3D Grand Card, standing, yet collapsible, made for use with purchased inserts or to use with dies from your own stash.

My Simple Card

 My Embellished Card

My Decked Out Card

Extra Embellishments I used on my cards:

There is on My Simple Card a shaker box with sequins and glass glitter. I created a shaker box using both inserts from a new Happily Ever After die set and placed it on a hemstitched background (Spellbinders S5-308 - Hemstitch Rectangles die set) and embellished with handmade flowers using a new flower die set. I love the beautiful silhouette couple and new flowers very much.
My Embellished Card is a simple Z-Fold card that I created using 12 in x 12 in patterned cardstock. I cut a piece measuring 5 in x 12 in and scored at 4 in and 8 in. Before folding the card I die cut two decorative windows using a Wedding Couple and a Filigree Vail dies.
I love all the layers on My Decked Out Card. To create this card I used both inserts from Happily Ever After die set and also I added, on the other four layers, a Wedding Couple insert but I just cut off the couple leaving decorative swirls which can be seen all the way trough the card. I also added to my card an embellishment from a Filigree Vail die set. I foam mounted it to the last layer (at the very back) at the top the way it can be seen from the outside too. I think it added extra interest to the card. This card may seem difficult to create but once you make one you will see that it is easy to make and looks amazing!

Kartkę trójwymiarową można złożyć i wysłać w kopercie. Serdecznie zapraszam! W razie pytań proszę dać znać w komentarzu albo emailem, chętnie odpowiem :)

Pozdrawiam, Joanna
