Introducing Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month Club

Good afternoon!! Welcome to our inaugural blog hop of the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month. Today we're here to pump you up with some inspiration for the many ways and many colors to use the Die of the Month as well as to give you the skinny on the club. Stay tuned until the end of the post when I'll point you to the next inspiration stop in our blog hop.

What is the Die of the Month?
The Die of the Month is an exclusive die, crème de la crème, designed by Becca Feeken that are unlike previous collections. These are the special ones, the ones that have waited for a special occasion! What better way than to take you on a year-long ride of pleasant surprises!

Where is the Die of the Month available?
The Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month is available through Spellbinders. You can buy it -------> HERE.

How much is the Die of the Month?
It's a large die and subscription to the club is $30.00 per month and includes US Shipping.

What's so special about the Die of the Month?
These are dies designed by Becca that are chock full of extra rims and options so that you have a huge amount of flexibility in creating more than one creation from the same set. It's exclusive and limited, so you won't see it anywhere else and it's available until the subscription quantities are gone.

When is the Die of Month available?
The die of the month is available on the first of every month in quantities to cover subscriptions.  When it is gone, it's gone :-)

Why have a Die of the Month?
When most of Becca's dies come out they are themed collections of 12 to 14 dies.  These are the dies that are more specialized that she didn't want to build an entire collection around - they are definitely Becca's style but she's built extra functionality and thought into these sets. You all have spoken loud and clear to say that you have a monthly budget and that you want Becca dies all year long without breaking the bank. Well, here you go. Don't worry, collections are not going away but streaming them out on a monthly basis you'll see one once a month and they are delightful on the budget.

Here's My Die of the Month Make:
This month's die is called Christmas Village Vignette Frame Die. If you look closely you'll notice that it looks a whole lot like the popular 3D Vignette Grand Cabinet. That's no accident - Becca likes to make things that work together and add value to what's already in your stash.  No worries though, you don't have to have 3D Vignettes to use this die.

Here's what I decided to make. Using the Die of the Month I made a filigree card, tags and Christmas ornament.

First I folded a card stock in a half and then die cut the frame to give the card a shape. Then I die cut decorative panel at the front and then at the back of the card.

I decorated the front of the card creating a winter scene. The front of the card is see through.

My second make are Christmas tags. I created them using the decorative inserts. The shape is an outline window frame and I layered it, on 3D tape, with a panel that I die cut using together outline and snow insert dies.

My third make is a Christmas ornament.

I created the ornament by die cutting ten panels from cardboard (I used corn flakes cereal box). I secured together outline and the decorative insert. I die cut with ease in cardboard. The I added a decorative insert and die cut all three dies together so I had two panels with snow where I could add house, church and trees. Twelve layers in total.

I created this ornament the same way I made my other ornaments. You can find a tutorial ---> here.

At the front and the back I added a acetate to create a shaker inside.

I added some crackle paint and some splashes of white acrylic paint here and there to create a snowy effect.

Christmas Angel

Today I would like to share a Christmas card with Angel. I used 3D Angel from Spellbinders S4-961 - 3D Angel Ornament.

Dzisiaj chciałabym pokazać kartkę z aniołkiem z zestawu Spellbinders S4-961 - 3D Angel Ornament.

I die cut an angel three times. One Angel and two Angels with Halo. I glues them all only where head is and then used very little glue at the bottom of a dress and then bended all layers up a bit and supported it with tiny squares of 3D tape. I placed 3D tape near the center of the Angel along the diagonal line.

Aniołka wycięłam trzy razy. Raz samego Aniołka i dwa Aniołki z Aureolą. Skleiłam je razem tylko tam gdzie mają głowę oraz na dole sukienki. Podniosłam lekko boki Aniołka do góry i podkleiłam w kilku miejscach malutkimi kosteczkami 3D wzdłuż linii pionowej (zgięcia).

I placed my Angel inside a frame that I die cut using Spellbinders S5-308 - Hemstitch Rectangles.

Aniołka umieściłam w ramce, którą wycięłam z zestawu Spellbinders S5-308 - Hemstitch Rectangles.

I decorated my card with handmade poinsettias. I created them using Spellbinders S4-960 - Cinch and Go Poinsettias.

Na kartkę dodałam domowe poisencje, które zrobiłam z wykrojnika Spellbinders S4-960 - Cinch and Go Poinsettias.

Have a nice weekend!
Miłego weekendu!

Filigree Christmas Basket and Tutorial

I am sharing another filigree Christmas basket. I created it using decorative toppers from Spellbinders S4-963 - Snowflake Toppers.

Dzisiaj chciałabym pokazać jeszcze jeden koszyczek. Tym razem srebrny. Do jego zrobienia użyłam ozdobne bordery z zestawu Spellbinders S4-963 - Snowflake Toppers.

On the sides I added Swirl Accent from Spellbinders S5-365 - Sweetheart Swirl.

Na boli dodałam ozdobne akcenty z zestawu Spellbinders S5-365 - Sweetheart Swirl.

I made handle using NOEL Inner Pattern from Spellbinders S4-947 - Christmas Words.

Rączkę zrobiłam z wykrojnika NOEL z zestawu Spellbinders S4-947 - Christmas Words.

I also added a poinsettia from Spellbinders S4-960 - Cinch and Go Poinsettias.

Rączkę ozdobiłam poisencją z zestawu Spellbinders S4-960 - Cinch and Go Poinsettias.

There are two filigree baskets. Here is a lik to the first one - click.

A tutaj dwa koszyczki. Tutaj jest link do pierwszego - klik.

I took some pictures to show how I created a filigree basket.

Zrobiłam kilka zdjęć jak powstał koszyczek.

1. two 3-3/4in circles (dwa koła o średnicy 3-3/4incza)
2. two toppers which I die cut without the bottom die so I could trim the edge at 5/16in (dwa bordery, które wycięłam bez dolnego wykrojnika i odcięłam na wysokości 5/16incza)
3. approx. 12in by 3/4in strip of card stock, scored at 1/4in and cut on the 1/3in side so that it can bend easly (pasek dł. ok 12 na 3/4 incza, zbigowany na 1/4in i pocięty w paseczki na szerszej stronie)
4. a strip for handle, long enough to adjust it, it is approx. 3/4in wide (pasek na rączkę wystarczająco długi aby można dopasować go do koszyczka, szeroki jest na ok 3/4incza)

Here are toppers with the bottom 5/16 in wide.

Dwa bordery z ociętym dołem na wysokości 5/16 incza.

I used a strip to attach the cut part to the first circle going around the edge of the circle.

Pasek z pociętym brzegiem przykleiłam dookoła pierwszego kółeczka.

Then I added first topper to the 1/4in side (the bottom of the toper is slightly wider - 5/16in).

Następnie dodałam pierwszy border, którego dół jest ciutkę szerszy.

Then I added the second circle inside to cover the workings (strip).

Następnie dodałam drugie kółko aby zakryć łączenie.

Then I added handle. Before adding it I measured the lenght I wanted it to be.

Następnie dodałam rączkę. Wcześniej odmierzyłam długość rączki.

I covered the outside of the basket where handle is with a strip of card stock (1'' by 3/4'').

Miejsce gdzie widać łączenie rączki zakryłam kawałkiem kartonu wielkości 1'na 3/4 incza.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Dziękuję bardzo za odwiedziny.
