Amazing Paper Grace November Die of the Month Blog Hop

Christmas is on the horizon and of course, as makers, made Christmas Cards are our hallmark during the holidays. This month's APG Die of the Month is Winters Solstice Snowflake. It is a delicate doily looking snowflake done in a regal way to usher in the Holiday Season.

The Snowflake was designed by Becca but if you know her well, as a budget crafter, she intends for you to use the design year-round. Her holiday offerings always can be dressed up for Holidays and dressed down for any other occasion and the same is true with Winters Solstice Snowflake.

I created a shaped card using Amazing Paper Grace November Die of the Month. I like this month's die as it is perfect for making unique Christmas cards as well as all occasions cards. The die set is very intricate with a beautiful snowflake that can also be a little doily.

My Project Today:

To create a base for my card I used the outline die. Then I die cut a decorative frame and placed it on 3D tape for dimension. I decorated my card with handmade poinsettias. To make poinsettias I used white paper, Distress ink and Spellbinders S6-960 - Cinch and Go Poinsettias. I also added some real pine cones, acorns cups and some little berries.
