Baby Boy Mini Album

Today I have a Baby Boy mini book to share. To create my mini book I used Spellbinders S6-138 - Grand Arch 3D Card die set and Spellbinders S4-852 - Layered Bundle of Joy.

A while ago I made similar mini album in pink ---> you can see it here.

Dzisiaj chciałabym pokazać mini album dla chłopca. Mini album zrobiłam używając Spellbinders S6-138 - Grand Arch 3D Card oraz Spellbinders S4-852 - Layered Bundle of Joy.

Jakiś czas temu zrobiłam podobny album różówy, który można zobaczyć tutaj ---> klik.

I created front cover cutting trough the cover so that the first page can be seen trough the cover.

W okładce ozdobne elementy wycięłam tak, że widać pierwszą stronę patrząc przez okładkę.

To decorate pages and tags I used accents from Spellbinders S4-926 - Swirl Tags.

Strony i tagi ozdobiłam akcentami z zestawu Spellbinders S4-926 - Swirl Tags.

Here is one of the tags I made cutting Outline Arch and Bundle of Joy dies together and then I just cut off with scissors words 'Bundle of Joy' leaving decorative swirls in the left bottom corner. I left swirls unglued so a picture can be tucked underneath.

Tutaj widać jeden z tagów, które zrobiłam. Wycięłam je wykrojniem łuk razem z wewnętrznym dekoracyjnym Bundle of Joy a potem odcięłam nożyczkami napis zostawiając same zawijaski.

My mini book has four pages and covers. It is in the same size like the 3D card that can be created using 3D Grand Cabinet Card die set. I used hidden hinge technique by Kathy Orta to bind the pages (I made mini albums using this technique before so it was easy for me to create a spine for this mini book using this technique). The pages can also be binded using the hinges and the spine dies which come with this die set.

Mini album ma cztery strony i okładki. Jest tej samej wielkości jak kartka, która powstaje z tego wykrojnika (3D Grand Cabinet Card). Do złożenia albumu użyłam technikę, która nazywa się 'hidden hinge' wymyślony przez Kathy Orta. Można album również skleić używając elementów z zestawu wykrojnika.

Here I created a little fold out. The decorative frame (tag) comes from Spellbinders S6-136 - Grand Dome 3D Card.

Tutaj widać taki małe otwierane okienko. Ozdobiłam je ramką (tagiem) z zestawu Spellbinders S6-136 - Grand Dome 3D Card.

On the back cover I added a pocket from Spellbinders S4-730 - Filigree Pocket.

Na okładce dodałam kieszonkę z zestawu Spellbinders S4-730 - Filigree Pocket.

There are inside the pocket tags from Spellbinders S4-926 - Swirl Tags.

W kieszonce są tagi z zestawu Spellbinders S4-926 - Swirl Tags.

I used A4 pale blue pearl card stock. I die cut two elements for each page and glued it together so that the embossed sides are up on both sides of the page. I left the side where I connected pages with hinge a bit wider and also when I glued them together I did not glue left hand side as it has to stay open for attaching to the hinge later on. I rounded corners with 1/8 in corner rounder.

Do przygotowania tego małego albumu użyłam niebieski pastelowy karton perłowy. Na każdą stronę wycięłam po dwa elementy i je skleiłam. Lewę stronę zostawiłam troszkę szerszą bo w tym miejscu łączy się ona z grzbietem. Tam też nie dodałam kleju bo dodaje się go tam dopiero gdy łączy się stony z grzbietem. Rogi zaokrągliłam zaokrąglaczem 1/8 inczy.

New Baby Mini Album

Podczas przygotowywania albumu przyszła mama nie wiedziała jeszcze czy będzie córeczka czy synek stąd album taki kolorowy ('neutralny'). :-)

Today I would like to share mini album for a new baby. When I was making the album mum-to-be did not know yet if she will have a daughter or a boy so decided to make mini in many different colors. :-)

Album przygotowałam z bloczka papierow 6x6 Craft Asylum Candy, który otrzymałam w nagrodę za wyróżnienie w konkursie Card Designer of the year 2015.

For my mini album I used Craft Asylum Candy 6x6 paper pad. This pad was one of the prizes I received for being picked up one of the runner-up in Card Designer of the year 2015 competition.

Baby Boy Mini Album

Mini album dla chłopca wielkości ok 16cm kw. Miś na okładce to stempel Crafty Individials CI-440, a konik jest z Agaterii.

The size of my baby boy mini album is approx. 16cm sq. Two Teds on the cover are from Crafty Individuals CI-440 and a rocking horse from Agateria.

Grzbiet albumu przygotowałam techniką Kathy Orta 'Hidden hinge technique'. Dziękuję! Wczesniej grzbiet robilam troszke inaczej wg Stack The Deck Technique, ktora nauczylam sie od Ginger at My Sister Scrapper.

Strony są kieszonkami. W kieszonkach są duże tagi na zdjęcia.

For album binding I have used the Hidden Hinge Technique by Cathy Orta. Thank you! Before I was using the Stack The Deck Binding Technique, which I have learnt from Ginger at My Sister Scrapper.

It is a pocket style mini album with large tags in each pocket.

Strony w albumie ozdobiłam rozetkami, tagami i wycinankami z wykrojników.

I have decorated the pages with rosettes, tags and die cuts.

Na dwóch mini książeczkach odbiłam stempelki. Tutaj jest miś, który zaembossowałam pudrem shabby blue enamel Stampendous.

There are tow little foldouts I have decorated them with stamps. Here is a teddy bear, which I embosses in shabby blue enamel Stampendous.

Tutaj w kieszonce jest druga mini ksiązeczka z ubrankiem, który zaembssowałam białym pudrem.

There is another mini foldout with a baby cloths stamp which I have embossed in white opaque.

Do albumu użyłam mały bloczek c'est la vie Melissa Frances.

To decorate my mini I have used a 6x6 paper pad c'est la vie Melissa Frances.

Po raz pierwszy do wzmocnienia grzbietu uzylam kopert tyvek, o ktorym wspomina Kathy w jednym ze swoich video na YT. 

For the first time I have used tyvek envelopes to strenghten the binding. I have learnt about this from one of Kathy's YT videos.
