You are Amazing to me Card

I would like to share a special card.

As a member of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team, I receive free dies to use in my projects. 

I created a watercolor resist background using a plate from Spellbinders GLP-240 - Diamonetta Background Glimmer Hot Foil Plate together with Spellbinders GLF-028 - Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Matte Silver. The sentiment comes from Spellbinders GLP-218 - Heart Melt Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set. For the sentiment I used Spellbinders GLF-015 - Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Skybright.

I added on my card handmade flowers. They are from:

a large flowers Spellbinders S4-792 - Cinch and Go Flowers

small ones are from Spellbinders S4-1022 - Grand Pocket

Watercolors are Watercolors Set Sea-Glitz ArtEssencials by JaneDavenport and a brush from Aqua Brushes ArtEssentials.

The decorative accents that I placed in corners are from Spellbinders S4-926 - Swirl Tags.

Introducing the Amazing Paper Grace Delicate Impressions Collection

Delicate Impressions Details

We’re excited to introduce another Glimmer Hot Foil collection! The Delicate Impressions Collection has five sets of Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. The fifth set, Heart Melt Sentiments, has four unique phrases with matching dies. The other four sets are designed to create borders and accents that can be used on cards from A2 to 5 x 7-inches. Each elegant motif can be layered with itself or mix with others in the same collection or beyond.

Glimmer Hot Foil Plates are metal plates used in the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System to transfer foil to paper through a combination of heat and pressure.  Roll the Glimmer machine base through your die cut machine to deliver its beautiful design. Refer to Compatibility Charts on Spellbinders' website, to see if your machine is a match.

 

Our Creative Team members will showcase their creations made with the Delicate Impressions Collection today. For those of you who enjoy watercolors, we are using Jane Davenport Watercolors to highlight our projects. See if you can identify what techniques are being used!

My Projects For Today

First up is  Fanfare Border Glimmer Hot Foil Plate

Here is what the dies look like: 

Heart Melt Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate

To create a background for my card I used panels from Fanfare Borders together with Silver Holographic Sparkle foil from Spellbinders GLF-012 - Glimmer Hot Foil 4 Rolls - Metallic and Holographic. To create a cascading look I simply was moving the plate to the left. Then I used wet on wet technique with Watercolors Set Brights ArtEssentials by Jean Davenport. I used blue with red paints with a large brush from Aqua Brushes ArtEssentials by Jean Davenport.

The flowers on my card come from:

a large rose Spellbinders S6-050 - Cinch and Go Flowers

two flowers on a side Spellbinders S4-867 - Cinch and Go Flowers III

small flowers Spellbinders S4-982 - Cinch and Go Flowers IV

four petal flower Spellbinders S4-1015 - Candlewick Rosebud

The sentiment is from Heart Melt Sentiments set and I used with it Spellbinders GLF-028 - Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Matte Silver.

My second project for today 

I created a basket for a mini chocolate bar. I decorated it with the border from the Fanfare Border Glimmer Hot Foil set and I also added a scallop border from Spellbinders S4-869 - Tiered Rosettes. To create a handle I used a decorative strip from Spellbinders S4-702 - Graceful Scallops.
