Introducing Halloween Collection Blog Hop from Amazing Paper Grace

Create some BOOtiful creations with a new collection from Amazing Paper Grace – The Halloween Collection.  It's super SPOOKY cute!.

Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace supplied the dies for my use today.

The Halloween Collection Details

This Halloween Collection includes three thin metal die sets They can be used separately or mix and match with each set in the collection. It goes especially well with the popular Charming Cottage Box Die Set as you will see while hopping through.

The Halloween Collection sets used!

My Project for Today:

Today, I'm using a die designed by Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace called S3-405 Spooky Boo, available at Spellbinders.

To create a web on my card I die cut the web die four times and placed on 3D tape around. I created an eye for each tiny spider by placing a gem on their head.

My Second Project for Today:

I used Spellbinders S3-405 - Spooky Boo and Spellbinders S6-153 - Charming Cottage Box. A link to a video how to assemble the Charming Cottage Box Die Set ----> HERE.

I die cut two doors and one of them I scored at 1/3 and folded. The I adhered the doors on that hinge so the doors stays open and the cat can go out :-)

Inside the Charming Cottage Box I placed bats as well. I mounted them on a floral wire and adhered to the roof. I was trying to take a picture through the window with the bat inside but it is a bit hard.

Here is the bat inside on the wire.

For placing an electric tea light inside I created an opening by die cutting the smaller rectangle that is in the Charming Cottage Box die set. I decorated inside with webs and spiders.

The Halloween Collection is available now on Spellbinders’ website, click Halloween Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken.

Amazing Paper Grace August Die of the Month Blog Hop - Pop up 3D Vignette Telephone

Hold the phone!!!  It has been an exciting week for us all!!  We've been waiting with bated breath to announce our Creative Team!  Many are waiting for their dies to arrive but two of our newest designers are joining in today.  Today we are sharing the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for August 2020 -  Pop up 3D Vignette Telephone.  It's super cute and guaranteed to bring a smile!

Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace supplied the dies for my use today.

If you missed our post introducing the new Creative Team, pop down to see the announcement on the blog.

Pop Up 3D Vignette Phone Details

We've spent all month making funny phone jokes and puns!  Do you realize this little relic is something that most teenyboppers haven't seen in person?  Just as with the typewriter, the phone is an iconic part of our history and technology.  Ever evolving, this phone will always be a part of our coming of age.  During the month we played "I Spy" to peek into how folks were using this die and this is what we found:

  1. A shaker card
  2. A notepad holder
  3. A mini 4-page scrapbook (which will hold Instax pictures)
  4. A gift card holder
  5. A card with multiple sentiments
  6. A basket

We're sure there are more, but in the meantime, here is some additional inspiration to pique your creativity.

There are SIXTEEN dies included in the Telephone Set

My Project Today using 3D Vignette Telephone

I would like to share a 3D Telephone card that I created for my daughter so she knows she can always call me :-) Inside the card I added some of my favourite sentiments that I would like my daughter to remember.

I created a cord for my telephone using a string. I added a bit of gel medium on it and then twisted it around the stick and let it dry.

My second project

I also created a card on a 13.5cm square card base. I adhered the telephone base on the double 3D tape so that I have room to tuck the receiver with a message behind it. I added some flowers so that the receiver stays a little bit up.

To create my handmade flowers that are on both cards I used white card stock and Distress inks. I die cut flowers using Spellbinders S4-867 - Cinch and Go Flowers III and Spellbinders S4-982 - Cinch and Go Flowers IV.

My handmade poinsettias are made using Spellbinders S4-960 - Cinch and Go Poinsettia and red handmade paper.

Underneath the sentiment I placed a snowflake that I die cut in gold mirror card stock. I used a die from Spellbinders DOMAPG-NOV19 - Winter's Solstice Snowflake. In the corners I added from Spellbinders S4-926 - Swirl Tags. And over the decorative plate I added Holly from Spellbinders S6-158 - Grand Snow Globe. Decorative corners and Holly I also die cut with gold mirror card stock. On the top of Holly I added three gems.
