Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Intro Blog Hop

Within the various collection introductions, Amazing Paper Grace has included sets that were inspired by classic sewing motifs. The Fluted Classics Collection is another wonderful layering shape set with ticking designs reminiscent of the blanket stitch on its edges! Nest the outer and inner rims with the insert to cut a tailored frame or for a beautiful background edge to any layering design. Keep it simple and you can cut a solid shape with just an outer rim. The Fluted Classics come in circle, square, oval, and rectangle shapes. We’ve also added a slimline version for those card makers who want to create an elegant and trendy silhouette.

Today's projects were created with dies provided by Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today

I created a slimline birthday card and a bookmark.

I created a frame using the largest dies from the new slimline die set.

The background I created with Spellbinders GLP-026 - A Little Birdie Glimmer Hot Foil plate with GLF-029 - Starburst Hot Foil Roll.  I used only a part of the design.

To create my bookmark I used smallest dies from the new slimline die set together with the same glimmer plate with GLF-027 - Aura Glimmer Hot Foil Roll.

At the bank of a bookmark I added a Small Slot and a Slot Cover from Spellbinders S4-1149 - Perfect Harmony Notecard die set. I have threaded a ribbon through it.

Happy Birthday Card

Today I am sharing another slimline card!

As a member of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team, I receive free dies to use in my projects.

I decorated my card with elements from Spellbinders GLP-286 - A Little Birdie. I hit foiled the floral frame twice directly on my card layer. Once the whole wreath and then just one branch at the bottom of my card. For the floral frame and sentiments I used Spellbinder GLF- 029 - Glimmer Hot Foil - Starburst. For the bird I used patterned paper with Spellbinders GLF-027 - Glimmer Hot Foil - Aura.

My slimline card layer comes from Spellbinders S6-175 - Hemstitch Slimline. I used the largest die and then I created a card base that measures 8-5/8'' by 3-5/8''.

Happy Birthday Deer Friend Card

Today I am sharing a birthday card for a friend.

To create my card layer I used the largest die from Spellbinders S6-175 - Hemstitch Slimline. My card base measures 8-5/8'' by 3-5/8''. It is just slightly larger (1/8'') than the card layer.

I hot foiled a sweet deer and a flower crown from Spellbinders GLP-287 - Deer Friend with Spellbinders GLF-027 - Glimmer Hot Foil - Aura.

I hot foiled directly on my card layer a sentiment from the same die set 'Deer Friend' and on a separate piece of card stock 'It's your birthday!' from Spellbinders GLP-286 - A Little Birdie' and I adhered it on 3D tape. For both sentiments I used Spellbinders GLF-029 - Glimmer Hot Foil - Starburst.

Shine Your Light Birthday Card

Today I am sharing a slimline birthday card that I decorated with Spellbinders GLP-285 - Shine Your Light Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die set.

As a member of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team, I receive free dies to use in my projects.

To hot foil stamp the Lighthouse image first I stamped the frame with Silver Holographic Facets from GLF-012 Glimmer Hot Foil 4 Rolls. The I stamped the sun with GLF-029 - Starburst. For the Lighthouse I used GLF-015 - Skybright and the coordinating die.

My card is a slimline card and I used Spellbinders S6-175 - Hemstitch Slimline die set. I die cut the largest die twice. One I die cut again together with the smaller rectangle to create a frame.

I decorated my card with handmade flowers. The dies I used to die cut the flowers are from different sets designed by Becca Feeken Amazing Paper Grace. One of them are Spellbinders S4-982 - Cinch and Go Flowers IV.

Springtime Wishes Card

Today I am sharing another Easter card.

As a member of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team, I receive free dies to use in my projects.

I created my Easter egg on watercolour paper. First I die cut, in textured watercolour paper, the largest oval from Spellbinders S5-416 - Elegant Twist Ovals. Then I hot foiled the decorative design. I used Spellbinders GLP-128 - Lace Frippery Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. I hot foiled it three times starting in a middle and then on both ends but just a part of the design. Then I painted it with watercolours by Jane Davenport. For hot foiling I used Spellbinders GLF-029 - Hot Foil Roll -Starburst.

I placed my Easter egg on a decorative frame from Spellbinders S5-414 - Sentimental Finery.

Easter Cards

Today I would like to share Easter cards that I created with Spellbinders GLP-125 - Imperial Adorned Ovals Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. I used all three plates to create Ester eggs. With the pates I used Spellbinders GLF-029 - Glimmer Hot Foil - Starburst. To die cut 'an egg' shape I used outer dies from Spellbinders S5-416 - Elegant Twist Ovals. These outer ovals have a delicate scallop edge. On my first card is the smallest Easter egg.

As a member of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team, I receive free dies to use in my projects.

To create Easter eggs I used textured watercolour paper together with Jane Davenport watercolours. First I painted watercolour paper and then I hot foiled the design and then I splashed some paint over the smallest and medium eggs.

To create a card base I used Spellbinders S5-311 - Emmeline Treillage.

I decorated my cards with handmade flowers. I used old Spellbinders flower dies like Rose Creation and Daisy Heads. Here is a link to the tutorial on how I create a flower centre in daisies ---> click.

My second Easter Card has a medium Easter egg.

I created this Easter egg the same way like the above smallest one. I decorated the card with a die from Spellbinders S5-327 - Annabelle's Trousseau. The blue frame is the largest from Spellbinders S4-1027 - Double Halo Oval.

Each of the Easter cards today have a flower from Spellbinders Fresh Cut Paper Flowers. The blue flowers, on the top and on the right hand side, are from Spellbinders S4-791 - Isadora Trinkets.

There is, on my third card, the larges Easter egg. I create this one the same way as the first two. The only difference was that I did not splashed it with paint.

The shaped card base I created using Spellbinders S4-989 - Cannetillie Rectangle

My last Easter card has a smallest Easter egg. I created this egg the same like the previous ones except that when I painted the egg and while it was still wet I placed a stencil on it and let it dry. It created a background with diamonds.

I layered this card with decorative squares from Spellbinders S4-1049 - Elegant Twist Squares.

Here is a link to a tutorial on how to create yellow and pink roses that I added on this card ---> click.
